Pride is dedicated to bringing LGBTA events to the area throughout the year. We provide resources and information to the community and opportunities for learning. Many of our events are open to all ages because we are committed to the youth of our community. Some past events include: bimonthly Gay Straight Alliance meetings, seminars, Pride Night @ TinCaps, Pride Skate, drag shows, Rainbow Bowling; LGBT dinner/discussions, LGBTA prom, and many more. Pride also helps to promote and co-sponsor events with community organizations. Stay up to date with our events and check back often.

October Mourning: A Song for Matthew ShepardOctober 7th; 3pm; Plymouth Congregational; All Ages; Get Tickets HerePresented by: Heartland Sings, Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne, Purdue School of Music, Plymouth Church and Fort Wayne Pride

October Mourning is award-winning author Lesléa Newman’s deeply personal literary and theatrical response to the events of October 6, 1998, when 21-year-old Matthew Shepard was brutally beaten and hung on a fence to die in one of the most brutal gay hate crimes of recent memory. This work of poetic imagination, married to the hauntingly beautiful music of Curtis Heard, serves as an illumination to those unfamiliar with the tragedy, and as a powerful, enduring tribute to Matthew Shepard’s life and legacy.
